OLIGURIC: 

Urine output less than 500 cc a day

SIMILAR TERMINOLOGY:

Anuric. This is generally defined as urine output of less than 100 cc a day. It is often used incorrectly in exchange for the word oliguric.

CAUSES: 

Acute renal failure

Chronic renal failure

BPH

Obstructive kidney stone
