15 Questions You Should Ask When Being Interviewed
15 QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK IN A NURSING INTERVIEW

1. How long will I be trained/oriented
2. Who would be my supervisor. Who do I report to
3. Who and what is my support after training
4. How many other nurses will work when I work
5. What paid time off/sick leave options are there
6. Are benefits included
7. Is there opportunity for growth
8. What tools will I need or good to have
9. Is there paid CME (continued education)
10. What does a typical day look like
11. What is the most common types of patient seen
12. What are normal operating hours, times required to work (holidays, weekends, etc)
13. How are schedules made..self scheduling?
14. Will I get feedback on how I am doing (this should be very important to you)
15. Is there an opportunity for me to pick up extra hours at some point

There are several other questions to think about asking. These are just some that will help get you started. Make sure to be tactful and also add your personality to these questions. it is super important o be kind, polite, and upfront. You do not want to enter into a contract with a company that does not fit and I would say vice versa for the employer. It is important to show them that you are curious what working with them would be like. But these questions will also help you to determine whether or not this is what you are looking for as well.
